 Couple of Star Wars drawings for fun celebrating May the 4th.

Alric and Fyxen

Hailing from Easthaven, Alric and Fyxen's shields bear the symbol of the serpent

Gyrd The Painless was born of a nine-month bar-brawl in a tavern, high up in the Skjieldborg Mountains. This dwarf is fast becoming a legend in his own life-time for his battle prowess and fearlessness. Gyrd wields the great-axe, Sael Beltide, which means 'Happy Hour.'

Fyxen Ivarsdottrar, sister of Alric is a seasoned warrior fond of animal handling. She wields the axe Cwalu, a weapon sheathed in fire, found at the site of a great battle with her Father, Ivar.

 

The young half-elf Aethelbrandr is a noble who joined the crew to learn the warrior ways and earn his reputation. He is later made Thegn (lord) of his hometown, Fenwick, just as a civil war in the region rears its ugly head.

No stranger to roguish ways, Ragnar Hairy Breeches is the halfling captain of the Widow-Maker's longship Wyrm-Chaser

Alric Ivarsson: Definitive portrait

This image and the next four I'll be doing will function as the guideline for each of the main character's visual details. This is useful when drawing many characters and maintaining continuity in that respect. Here we see Alric, son of Ivar and Runa, brother to Fyxen.

On a different subject, here's a few weapon designs, the rifles used by the New-Earth Confederation a thousand years from now. The disc-blade is an Etheri thrown and close-quarter staple, the Lethe 12 Firespray still employed by some Etheri factions

These characters are still in the initial design stage. Clothing & armour suitable to this Viking & Saxon style story for these characters and others are in the works
